Managing and displaying Testimonials

A great plugin we found this week is the Testimonial manager, a great way to manage and display your customer testimonials.  The plugin comes with a huge range of display options so you can drop these things in anywhere.

Helpdesk

You can also now use Wordpress to run a customer help desk facility. This could be a great way to set up an online way to manage customer enquiries in an easy and familiar environment. You could simply setup a seperate Wordpress install on another sub directory called helpdesk or support.

Affiliate Programme

We also found an affiliate programme that you can use to run your own onsite affiliate programme using Wordpress. This plugin has a great number of features but the main ones that we like is that it can be a two tier programme.  The plugin works with lots of other plugins such as shopping carts and membership site plugins. YOU can also integrate this plugin to run a pay per lead campaign – which is great for finance and insurance sites.

Web content is one of those things that we all can add to our website, but then what? Simply adding content is not enough. You need to make sure:

• it is keyword rich;
• worth reading;
• easy to read;
• you give people more than one way to find it;
• you need to link to it;
• you need to syndicate it;

If JFK was a internet marketer he would say something like “Ask not what your content can do for you, but rather what you can do for your content!”

With that firmly in mind here are a few ways to get the most out of your content:

Link to it.

This really is a no brainer but if you don’t link to it, how will people find it?   Add links to it from other articles you have written, link to it from your main website.  Add links to it on your blog or social profiles, status updates, there are  huge number of ways to get links to it.

Recycle it.

Can you use it in a free downlodable report or the basis of one?  Can you turn it into a video or presentation which can thenm be updaoed to scribd.com or slideshare.net?  Use a service such as odiogo.com and turn the content into an audio stream automatically.

Support it.

Keep it up to date, change it around, create followups over time and then link back to the original. Do you get asked questions about something in the article? – then update it with a reply.  Obviously this works well on blog posts.

Syndicate it.

Get your content out there. Submit it to Article websites, blog sites, post it on relevant forums, write guest blog posts for other sites.

Payday loans website Speed-e-loans.com has announced a new sponsorship deal with two pro snooker legends – Ali Carter and Joe Perry.

Carter and Perry, ranked No.5 and No.12 in the current World Snooker rankings, begin promoting the fast finance brand on snooker’s biggest stage this month when they compete in the Betfred World Championships, broadcast on BBC and Eurosport from 17 April – 3 May.

With recently released figures* showing that even a trip to the dentist may cause financial problems (with people using credit cards; taking out loans; or even avoiding the problem and suffering long term tooth decay) finance expert Gary Miller-Cheevers is suggesting that payday loans may be a quicker, more effective solution to paying for dental costs than other alternatives.

The Simply Health research* showed that over the last year:

* 39% of respondents with a dental bill over £50 used their credit card to pay for the cost;
* one in 50 took out a loan;
* 43% have avoided visiting the dentist as they were too worried about the cost implications, in some cases leading to tooth decay, abscesses and even loss of their tooth.

Even basic dentistry costs can soon rack up, with a simple check- up costing on average £46 privately or £16.20 on the NHS**, while a small, non-white tooth filling averages out at £78 privately or £44.60 on the NHS**.

Gary Miller-Cheevers says: “It is a travesty that in this day and age people in the UK have to borrow money to afford basic healthcare or forgo treatment as they cannot afford it. Using a payday loan may be a quick and easy way to fund any kind of basic, lower cost treatment fast, as in most cases the money can be in a bank account within a couple of hours of someone being approved.”

Using a payday loan – which is a form of cash advance on your next or next-but-one payday and which allows people to apply for amounts up to £250 – may sometimes work out cheaper than using a credit card (unless the amount is paid off in full on the credit card due date); a long term loan; or using an unauthorised overdraft***.

Gary adds: “Not only are you getting a short term, comparatively low cost loan which is cleared on your next payday, you are getting peace of mind and relief from your pain. So we can reduce the physical pain and also the financial one too!”
