Build a Blog Training Day

Course objectives
This course will give you the hands on experience to develop a build a blog during the day. Then you will also be armed with the marketing skills to promote your business blog online.

You will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of Blogging for your Business and why to build a blog
  • Discover the different options for building a blog
  • Register with a blogging solution to build a blog
  • Setup a single account or multiple accounts depending on the number of businesses required
  • Create your first blog post with links and images if necessary
  • Implement a blog marketing strategy for promoting your blog online
  • Learn what RSS Feeds are and how to maximise their use
  • How to get the major search engines to find your Blog
  • Notify the major search engines each time you write a new blog post – automatically
  • Encourage and manage additional user content in the form of comments
  • Apply other advanced marketing techniques to promote your blog online

Prerequisites
We would ask that all candidates have an interest or involvement in marketing a business online. Blogging involved writing so it would be advantageous if on the day you had some content ideas so you can create these posts during the course.
